About This Site
YachtSports goal is not to be just another sailing site but to be able to add some real benefit to the sailing community. The site is an evoloving place and changes here will be quite regular.

To kick off we have implemented a links section(Downwind), articles from the Quarter Berth, an event calendar (the starters Log) a buy, sell and swap area( Bosuns Locker) and the Chandlery (blatant adervertising of our Web products).

Bosuns Locker is a place where people can advertise all those old second hand bits and pieces lying around in the shed, in the bilges, in the backyard or even at the marina.

Bosuns locker is a free, we do not expect or nor take commission, graft or bribery. We also take no responsibility for goods sold or traded.

Bosuns Locker is simple you enter your e-mail address and a password and a description of the goods. Your e-mail address is never revealed. Respondents respond in a form and the response is then forwarded to the advertiser. After that it is all between the advertiser and the respondent. All adverts are automatically removed after one calendar month. The password is so that the owner of a particular post may remove or edit their posting.

We take privacy seriously and do not harvest e-mail address for our own or any third party; we do not sell or otherwise distribute e-mail addresses to third parties.

This site will grow, new features will be added and with luck most of the new features will be driven by the users of this site.

Down below, is a link to a members login and registration screen. Once you have registered you then have the ability to help drive the site. From down below you may add and upload articles, add calendar events and add links
